On the Relationship between a Novel Prorocentrum sp. and Colonial Phaeocystis antarctica under Iron and Vitamin B12 Limitation: Ecological Implications for Antarctic Waters

Resumen

Since preliminary data revealed that Prorocentrum sp. (Dinophyceae) was able to produce bioactive compounds, further investigation will be focused on the isolation and identification of molecules potentially usable for biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications.
