Resumen
The sclerite structures of the diplozoids from the gills ofL. umbratusin the Vaal Dam were studied. This was done with Glycerine Ammonium Picrate(GAP), H?rens se Trichrome and Scanning electron microscopy. After comparing the resultswith known species, it was confirmed that this is an undescribed species ofParadiplozoon.
