Resumen
O texto problematiza a realidade dos países amazônicos na atualidade, marcada pela contradição entre serem portadores de imensas riquezas naturais e o grande pauperismo de suas populações. Busca localizar as raízes dessa contradição como uma construção histórica, a partir da inserção destes países no sistema econômico mundial de forma subordinada e dependente. Demarca grandes momentos históricos em que isto foi ocorrendo, enfatizando as lutas de classes e o papel do Estado. It points out the contradiction between being in possession of vast natural wealth and the great poverty of their people. It tries to find the roots of this conradiction as a historical construction since the integration of theses countries in the world´s economic system in a subordinate and dependent way.
