Resumen
O artigo analisa as concepções burguesas de democracia e participação a fim de compreender a sua influênciana regulação da ação dos movimentos sociais camponeses, organizados em torno da luta por um projeto popular deeducação do campo. Para tanto, realiza-se revisão bibliográfica e análise documental, enquanto procedimentosmetodológicas, a partir das quais identifica-se a estreita relação entre as concepções de democracia e participação, e os interesses hegemônicos capitalistas - adotada enquanto fundamento basilar no controle Estatal da ação dos movimentos sociais camponeses.Palavras-chave: Democracia, participação, movimentos sociais, educação do campo.DEMOCRACY AND POPULAR PARTICIPATION CONTROL: conceptions and influences for rural education and for the actions of the social movementsAbstract: In this article one analyzes the bourgeois conceptions of democracy and participation, in order to understand its influence considering the regulation of the action of the social movements of the peasants, organized around the fight for a popular project of field?s education. In that sense the article fulfills bibliographical and documental revision as methodological strategy, from which a narrow relation, considering capitalist conceptions of democracy, participation and hegemonic interests, is identified. It is also adopted as fundamental bedding in the State control of the action of the social movements of the peasants.Keywords: Democracy, participation, social movements, countryside education.
