The article highlights a problem concerning the ways of evaluation of financial security and its level on the railway transport enterprises. The relevance of this article is caused by this problem. Insufficient attention paid to the problems on the development of evaluation methods in this sphere could result in loss of financial stability and financial independence of the enterprise, which could lead to its bankruptcy. The challenge is to ensure a high level of financial security of railway enterprises.
